Family News

Mark (18) is a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His scholarship makes his higher education quite affordable for us. He is currently majoring in linguistics (!) and minoring in music, and this semester he is taking a course in pidgin and creole languages (!!). Kimberly (15) is a junior in high school, involved in various clubs and sports and other extra-curricular activities such as cello lessons, and doing great academically. She toured up the east coast this past summer performing in a church-sponsored production of Godspell. Michael (13) is very creative, doing well in middle school, singing in the school chorus and playing clarinet in the school band. Along with Kimberly and Lynn, he plays in the church orchestra as well. Lynn is also involved in choir at church, sometimes singing and sometimes accompanying on the piano. Four-fifths of the family is quite involved in music.
